We’re making 2020 the year that National Boyfriend Day officially becomes a really big “thing!” As far as we can tell, this day is a totally internet-generated phenomenon. The first reference we found is mentioned as Boyfriend Day, probably dated October  4, 2014.  But the day seems to gain traction by March 2016 with over 46,000 tweets!
