KRK or Kamaal R Khan was arrested at Mumbai airport

Actor Kamaal R Khan was arrested at Mumbai airport for a 2020 controversial tweet.

He was wanted for two years by the police but was not in Mumbai as a result of his tweets and his open jibes at Bollywood films and actors. KRK was detained at the airport as soon as he landed on August 29. The complaint was filed against Kamaal R Khan at Malad Police Station.

In the year 2020, KRK had made an objectionable tweet about the late actor Rishi Kapoor being hospitalized, after which Shiv Sena leader Rahul Kanal complained to Kamaal.

It has been reported that the police had previously issued a lookout circular against him. Additionally, he was charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 153 (wantonly provoking riot) and 500 (defamation punishment), and the Information Technology Act of 2020.

Salman Khan sought contempt action against KRK

As a result of Kamaal R Khan's continued defamatory remarks despite an undertaking not to do so, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan filed a contempt action against him in June 2021 in Mumbai. Salman applied to prevent KRK from making and uploading videos or any other content about Salman, his business ventures, and films and projects as part of a defamation lawsuit.

Kamaal R Khan had just reviewed the recently released Hindi film Radhe and Salman had filed a libel lawsuit against him.
