During the CBI probe into the corrupt SSC, which has been closed since 2014, around 200 crore rupees were recovered from the house of a person close to Partha Chatterjee, most of which were notes of 500 and 2000 rupees. The person close to Parthababu is Arpita Mukherjee.
According to confidential sources, ED said "more than twenty mobile phones were found from the house of Minister Arpita Mukherjee, which she used to make money transactions."

Besides, the ED also said that excessive gold, diamonds, various illegal documents and land deeds were recovered from Arpita Mukherjee's house. Their assumption is that these are bribes taken for SSC and all Group D and Group C jobs. And former education minister of West Bengal Parth Chatterjee found a link with it. Partha Chatterjee has a good relationship with Arpita Mukherjee, so it is believed that these properties actually belong to Partha Chatterjee.
Now the investigation will continue in more depth to bring out all these issues clearly in front of everyone.
