IS THIS THE END OF THE UK GOVERNMENT?
On Tuesday, Sajid Javid, the health minister, and Rishi Sunak, the finance minister, resigned from Boris Johnson's government. It pushes the government of the UK into the worst crisis. Consequently, the prime minister of the UK faces a no-confidence vote in the parliament. However, Johnson survived it.
A few resignations were also made followed by the Tuesday incident. Later Boris johnson apologized to every cabinet member for reappointing pincher to the whip office, Johnson's words "Bitterly regret".
Javid said that the people of the UK had lost confidence in the ruling government. In a later statement, Javid mentioned the scandals that had befallen Johnson's government as reasons for losing faith in his ability to govern the nation.
Javid said," I regret to say, however, that it is clear to me that this situation will not change under your leadership and you have therefore lost my confidence too."
Rishi Sunak also express similar statements, he said " I am sad to be leaving government, but I have reluctantly come to the conclusion we cannot continue like this"
Following that, Johnson assigned Steve Barcley as the new health minister, and Nadhim Jahawi was appointed as the new finance minister.
