Google could not show 360 degrees on its Google Maps in India after not getting permission from the government for 360-degree interactive panorama view.
For security purpose, India does not order satellites of any other country, including Google, to take complete road mapping or photographs of its own country, that's why even if all the roads in America are presented in 3D shape on Google, it is not possible in India. Apart from this, while there is a mandate to take pictures of 360 degree view in other countries, it was not there for the last 11 years in India, but now the Indian government has given permission to Google.

But here a question arises, will it show any flaws or fragility in India's security system?
Google said in a statement that it is going to launch Street View in partnership with Genesis International and Tech Mahindra, for which Google has been waiting for 11 years.

Starting today, Street View will be available on Google Maps with fresh imagery licensed from local partners covering over 1,50,000 km across ten cities in India, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik, Vadodara, Ahmednagar, and Amritsar,” it said Google.
After receiving the concession letter from the government, Google joined forces with ten companies to create panoramic view.
